What is Nordic Walking
It is story of some years ago, when a group of Finnic skate skiing men thought to employ their snow stick to train during summer month, emploing the same mouvements with a difference: the lack of snow.
In this way it was born the nordic walking that comes from ice and that had been practiced only for high level athlets.
Only from the 90ties nordic walking has become popular in the land of 1.000 lakes and after it has become popular all over Europe having been successful everywhere.
In Italy nordic walking is one of the fitness activities which are more performed, its main chatacteristic is to walk with sticks, simulating the step, of snow skating, creating a movements that involves arms and trunk muscolar tissue and permets a movement that is faster than the usual one.

Nordic walking in mountains is good for people who want to join nature, sport and amusemet, for this Veneto has created nordic walking tracks at the top of the ski-lifts. The originality is to link sport in pleasant places with the challange to your abilities checked with the performance process.
The person that makes the trip, receives at the buying of the ticket the map of the track; the time monitoring begins with the introduction in the magetic ticket reader at the starting point and ends with the introduction of the ticket in the magnetic reader at the arrival.
