Exclusive at Staulanza Hut

DIFFERENT SPORTS - SKI MOUNTANEERIING

Ski on track
The greatest Veneto carousel: 85 km of tracks, 27 ski-lifts, ski skating and the last nowelty night skiing on lighted tracks. During winter months Staulanza Hut, situated in the middle of the skiing district welcomes the ski lovers Zoldo Alto or at 5 minutes by car to Selva di Cadore to reach the ski-lifts or the cross country ski. The wonderful position allows to combine the traditional skiing to trips with alpine ski and the excursion with "ciaspe" (snowshoes).

Alpine ski
Staulanza Hut organizes during every white winter weeks, ski alpine and trips with snow sticks to Monte Pelmo - Rocchette - Croda da Lago. The journeys have every kind of difficulty, from the beginners to the experts. Alpine guides and ski guides will come with you.

Programm: You will arrive on Friday at dinner time, you will find a double room with private bathroom and have a typical dinner, there will be the program explanation by maps and slide lecture and the control of the excursion equipment.

You can also have an exciting trip along "Giro della Grande Guerra" a wonderful tour that goes along "Col di Lana", it was the hearth of a military action during 15-18 war. The quality of track, the essence of the history that you can "hear" from valley to valley with the possibility to see several galleries and military seats along the entire trip give a great success to this tour.
Here is a short description of the tour.
You start from Palafavera and along Col dei Bai you descend to the characteristic village of Pescul in Val Fiorentina. From there with a ski bus you arrive to Fedare Hut and you climb to Averau with a new seat lift and descend to Bai dei Dones along the tracks of Cinque Torri. Another ski bus will bring you to Passo Falzarego and from there with a cableway you climb to Lagazuoi to descend along the wonderful Armentarola one of the most fantastic places of Dolomiti to San Cassiano. There you will find horses that conduce us to Val Badia. Then you climb to Piz Sorèga, Prà Longià and Monte Cherz. Joined Arabba the modern Cableway of Porta Vescovo will take us to Passo del Pardon and then down to Passo Fedaia, Malga Ciapèla, and the Serrai of Sottoguda and from here a ski bus will bring us to Alleghe and along the ski-lifts of Piani di Pezzè, you will be back to Palafavera our starting place.
This trip will take place on Saturday , Friday and Sunday and will maintain the program preceding described.

OTHER ALPINE TRIPS
From Passo Giau along Forcella Giau, you will find Mondeval Plateau, you can pass it to Forcella Ambrizzola, or you can climb on the right to the Top of Monte Mondeval or Piz del Corvo amusing you with a wonderful descent on fresh snow. From Forcella Ambrizzola you go to Malga Prendera and Hut Città di Fiume from there you can descend to Staulanza Pass. You can do this tour in a day, the coming back to Passo Giau is by 9 seats Jeep with start from Staulanza Pass.
